Nutty Wild Rice Beef Stir-fry and Broccoli
- 4-6 oz of lean beef tenderloin strips
- 4 tablespoons of sesame seeds
- 2 fresh garlic cloves minced
- 1 small red onion sliced
- 2 leeks sliced
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tbs sesame oil
- 1 cup of broccoli
- 1 cup of chicken broth
- 1 cup of wild rice
- 1 small box or 1oz of raisins
- 1 tbs of slivered almonds
- 1 tablespoon of sliced almonds
In a medium pan, add sesame oil, red onion, leeks, garlic, and beef strips. Stir until the desired level of cooking for the beef. Add salt and pepper to taste. Top of with sesame seeds.
Steam broccoli with chicken broth for extra taste.
Cook wild rice as directed in the instructions. Add raisins while boiling and chopped garlic for extra flavor and nutrition. Top off with one tablespoon of slivered almonds.
